A local donut shop that is all about fresh quality ingredients, hand-made daily in small batches, and connecting with their community. They want to stand out to be more than another less memorable donut shop.
The Challenge
Most donut shops are usually perceived as “brandless” and nonmemorable in the minds of their customers. Lucky Donuts wanted to stand out in their local area and connect with their younger customers; emphasizing fresh and quality ingredients, hand-made daily. They want to differentiate themselves from the rest of the donut shops. They’re not just another donut shop around the corner.

We want to ensure that Lucky Donuts stands out as more than just another donut shop. To achieve this, we aim to emphasize the unique characteristics of their most popular donut - the sprinkled pink glazed donut. We paired this symbol with a casual slab serif typeface with a custom monospace typeface that makes up the brand name.
